Multi-layer Signalling Model for Notch-Delta dynamics in 3D epithelia.

MSM is a Python toolkit for simulating Notch-Delta signalling on depth-resolved 3D epithelial contact networks. It was developed to study how apical and lateral cell-cell contacts shape lateral inhibition and the spacing of sensory organ precursor cells in the Drosophila wing margin .

The repository includes the core model, an analysis notebook, and concise documentation for running and exploring the software. Together, they provide a practical framework for testing how epithelial geometry and signalling range influence pattern formation.
